Sarah commenced as the CEO of the Norman Beischer Medical Research Foundation in 2025.
Sarah has extensive leadership experience across the not-for-profit, digital, aged care, and community sectors, with a strong focus on organisational development, corporate wellbeing, and governance. Her career reflects a deep commitment to building resilient, purpose-driven organisations.
Sarah’s passion for advancing women’s health is deeply personal. In the 1960s, her mother—then living in rural Victoria—was told she may not be able to conceive. After moving to Melbourne and receiving care at the Mercy Hospital, she benefited from pioneering treatments of the time and went on to have five children. Inspired by her mother’s story, Sarah is dedicated to ensuring women have access to world-class care throughout their pregnancy journey.
Sarah has a Bachelor of Business Administration (Property) from RMIT University and a Master of Business Administration, University of North London. She is a member of the AICD, sits on the Board of Wesley College, where she Chairs the Nominations Committee and is Vice Chair of Board of CaSPAcare and a longstanding member of the Sacred Heart Mission Women for Women Committee.
